The Vienna Boys' Choir, based at the historic Palais Augarten in Vienna, is one of the world’s oldest and most beloved choral ensembles. With four touring choirs—Bruckner, Haydn, Mozart, and Schubert—the group delivers a diverse repertoire from medieval chants to modern pop arrangements. Each year, approximately 100 young choristers aged 9–14 perform around 300 concerts for hundreds of thousands of listeners across the globe. The choir is directed by artistic director Gerald Wirth since 2001, with Erich Arthold serving as president since December 2022. The MuTh concert hall, opened in 2012, remains a central venue for many performances. The ensemble has released notable recordings, including Together (2021, Deutsche Grammophon) and the 525 Years Anniversary box (2023, Decca).
