The Spokane Symphony brings world-class orchestral performances to downtown Spokane, owned and operated by the orchestra itself at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. Since its beginnings as the Spokane Philharmonic in 1945 and its renaming in 1962, the ensemble has grown into a staple of the region’s cultural landscape. Under the leadership of Music Director James Lowe since 2019 and resident conductor Morihiko Nakahara, the orchestra delivers a diverse season that blends classical Masterworks, family concerts, educational programs, and vibrant Pops and Music & Movies experiences.
