2013 Record: 13-3 It was a record setting year for the Denver Broncos in 2013. Their offense set a record most points in a season with 606. They were the first team in NFL history to have four players catch 10 or more touchdowns with Demaryius Thomas (14), Julius Thomas (12), Eric Decker (11), and Wes Welker (10). Peyton Manning broke the record for most touchdown passes and most yards thrown for in a single season as well.   The Broncos looked unbeatable for most of the season as they rode the league’s most impressive offense back into the playoffs. In the common Manning-Brady playoff rivalry the Broncos emerged victorious when they beat the Patriots 26-16 to advance to the Super Bowl Everyone remembers what happened next. The Broncos did not show up in the Super Bowl. From the onset it was all Seahawks and the final score reflected that, 43-8. Look to 2014 and the Broncos are once again favored to get back to the Super Bowl. They went their separate ways with running back Knowshon Moreno and receiver Eric Decker but still possess more than enough on offense. To replace Decker, they drafted Cody Latimer (Indiana) who should be ready to contribute from day one. Aquib Talib was also a big signing from the Patriots. The corner back should help secure the secondary, an area in which the Broncos struggled in 2013. As long as Peyton Manning is under center the Broncos should have more than a chance at another Super Bowl run. Do they have it in them? Find out and head to Gold Coast Tickets to get your seats!
