The Fire have finally removed themselves from the very bottom of the Eastern Conference. The Fire notched a 3-2 victory over the Red Bulls at home and managed to grab a point against Orlando City in a week that saw the team play some of their best soccer of the season. Designated Player David Accam has been the Fire’s bright spot over the last couple of games and scored his 7th goal of the season against Orlando City. In more positive Fire news, Goalkeeper Sean Johnson was called into US Men’s National Team camp. With the MLS season winding down be sure to head out to Toyota Park to catch a Fire game! It has not been easy thus far for the men in red. Sitting towards the bottom of the standings, it does not take a soccer expert to realize the Fire need to play better. Luckily, with a long and grueling season the Fire have plenty of time to right the ship. Speaking of ship’s, the Fire’s Harrison Shipp has been the lone bright spot for the team this season. He will need help from the likes of David Accam and Sean Maloney if the Fire are to climb in the standings. The once deadly Mike Magee is slowly making his way back from a series of injuries. The former MLS MVP brings a calming influence to the pitch but has only appeared so far as a substitute. Be sure to keep an eye on when he gets his chance to fully get back into the squad. Gold Coast Tickets is with the Fire every step of the way. The Seattle Sounders and New England Revolution are just a few of the teams that still have to make their way to Toyota Park.
