Rihanna’s ANTI World Tour
Rihanna's highly anticipated ANTI tour kicked off in Jacksonville on March 12 after the singer postponed a number of dates due to production delays. According to early reports, the show was definitely worth the wait. Rihanna always thinks big, and this concert is sure to raise the bar for other artists across the board to step up their stage production. Her set up is one of a kind, complete with a huge shower curtain that drips giant blobs of foam that measure up to 10-feet in diameter. Another unique feature of this show is a floating bridge that carries the singer from one end of the arena to the other. This show certainly doesn't skimp on the production value, which caused the delay that postponed the tour in 8 cities prior to the show in Jacksonville. The choreography is second to none with acrobatic dancers with enough high energy moves to rival a Cirque du Soleil show. Rihanna is no stranger to the style game and she wants to show off as many outfits as she can change into, which would make six in this show's case, including a glittery Giorgio Armani jumpsuit, a lace-up body suit from Adam Selman and a pair of hip-high chap boots by Giuseppe Zanotti that took 3 months to customize. Drake & Rihanna collaborated on the popular track "Work" which appears on her latest album, so when Drake made a surprise cameo on stage to perform the track, the American Airlines Arena crowd went crazy. There were rumors floating around that Drake would be joining Rihanna on this tour but nothing was confirmed. There's no telling if Drake will pop up for other shows in different cities, but this show is full of surprises. Don't miss the ANTI world tour when it stops at the United Center on April 15! Great seats are still for purchase here.
