Bulls Picking up the Pace
From Chicagoans fleeing to bars across the city to hosting people in their homes in this *awesome* weather we have been experiencing the past few days, it seems everyone grabbed the bull by the horns last night and tuned in to the Bulls game.
Monday night the Chicago Bulls played the Indiana Pacers for the second time in this playoff series (Bulls won Game 1 with a score of 104-99 on Saturday). Derrick Rose scored 36 points, while Carlos Boozer added 17.
The top-seeded Bulls pulled another victory over Indiana 96-90. Chicago wasn't playing as hot as we have seen them in the past, but they still kept their composure. Similar to Game 1, we let Indiana keep the "pace" up, as they tied or were ahead for much of the game. Late into the fourth quarter the Bulls finally pulled away for good. The final score 96-90 was a little too close for comfort and unfortunately not high enough for the crowd to win a free Big Mac from McDonald's...guess I'll have to spend the four bucks after all. But we did see some great plays by crowd favorites Kyle Korver and Derrick Rose and a win is a win so Bulls fans left happy.
The Bulls play the Indiana Pacers on the road again this Thursday, April 21 at 6pm. Get it Bulls!
