Taylor Swift to Perform in Chicago this Summer

Taylor Swift to Perform in Chicago this Summer

This teen queen has established herself as a fearless diva in the music and entertainment industry, and she’s coming to a city near you! Taylor Swift started her “Speak Now” tour last weekend  in Norway and will be hitting the Allstate Arena August 9-10 2011. Frankie Ballard, Danny Gokey, Hunter Hayes, Josh Kelley, Randy Montana, James Wesley and Charlie Worsham will each play select dates on the tour as opening acts. This is bound to be a show that young fans and adults can enjoy together. I’m not an avid Tay fan by any means, but I heard her concerts were pretty fun and entertaining.

The Tour

The Speak Now Tour will feature some of her classic songs from her past albums which are the self-titled, Taylor Swift, which debuted in 2006, and Fearless, released in 2008. Her 2009 Fearless Tour wowed audiences and featured a theatrical presentation of graphics, sets and visual elements all designed by Swift herself. Taylor also played the guitar and piano herself, which is seemingly unlikely for musical acts on tour these days. I say don’t miss out on this iconic star as she hits the Allstate Arena this Summer!
