Ole Miss Rebels Football

Ole Miss really turned things around last year behind new coach Hugh Freeze, as they improved by four wins in the regular season to make the BBVA Compass Bowl.  Bo Wallace had an up-and-down year at quarterback, as he played well but was nagged by too many interceptions.  The running game was not very good, and the Rebels will rely on their strong receiving core again.  On both defense and offense, Ole Miss was decidedly average nearly everywhere last season, but even that is in danger with losing many on the defensive line.  Rebuilding that will be a key for the 2013 Rebels.  Five-star recruit Robert Nkemdiche will help there, and a declining offensive line will be helped by five-star recruit Laremy Tunsil.  Overall, Ole Miss has a top-five recruiting class in the nation and has a ton of momentum behind them.  Fans have confidence in the new coach, and why not?  So far, so good.  An oddly balanced schedule start hard, at Vanderbilt, Texas, Alabama, and Auburn all within the first five weeks, until games against Idaho, Arkansas, and Troy later on.  As far as an SEC schedule goes, it should be somewhat manageable.  Ole Miss is poised for an even better season in 2013!

The Ole Miss Rebels operate in the SEC West under head coach Hugh Freeze at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, MS, which holds just over 60,000 fans.  Ole Miss has three national titles, six conference titles, and 34 bowl appearances.  They have rivalries with Mississippi State and LSU.  The Rebels have had many famous NFL players throughout the years; however, currently the most notable include: Cincinnati Bengals running back, Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis; New York Giants Super Bowl quarterback, Eli Manning; Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Mike Wallace, and San Francisco 49ers linebacker, Patrick Willis. Ole Miss has a lot of things in their favor this season and is looking up, and Gold Coast wants you to be there to see the action!  Buy with Gold Coast today for the best selection!
