The Oklahoma Sooners worked their way to a second place regular season finish in the competitive Big 12 in the 2013-2014 season. With a record of 23 and 10, the Sooners entered the NCAA Tournament as a five seed. The prolific Oklahoma offense, however, was shut down as they were upset by twelve seed North Dakota St in the first round. Leading scorer Buddy Hield will be returning to Norman this season and should improve on his 17 point per game average. Top 100 recruit Dante Buford will also look to make a big impact in his first year with the Sooners.
The Oklahoma Sooners are coached by Lon Kruger who will be entering his fourth year with the school. The Sooners play their home games at the Lloyd Noble Center in front of 12,000 fans.
