Designed by former NFL players and Marines, Mud Wars is the place to be for an all around great time. The race is a 5k run with 9 obstacle courses and 3 major mud pits, Mud Wars is designed to test every last bit of your strength, dedication, and endurance. Former marines will be there to help you along your rigorous journey through the mud as the task is daring and in no way easy. If you do decide to partake in the muddy challenge make sure to bring running shoes, clothes to get muddy in, an old towel, and even a change of clothes and shoes. However, if you do not want to engage in the muddiness, feel free to enjoy the fun in the party area which is complete with 3 DJ’s, beer, and some old-fashioned Chicago grub. Mud Wars will take place at Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island, which has an amazing view of the Chicago Skyline.
