The Cardinals will operate under 3rd year head coach Charlie Strong at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, which holds just about 55,000 roaring fans. The Cardinals have been an emerging powerhouse in the Big East, as in 2006 they made a trip to their first ever BCS Bowl Game. Wake Forest was no match for the 12-1 Cardinals in the Orange Bowl as the Cardinals went onto win 24-13. Last season was another great season for the Cardinals as they were co-champions of the Big East Conference, earning them a trip to the Belk Bowl. Although they did not come up victorious, the nation was soon able to see that the Cardinals are not a joke.
