The Kansas Jayhawks are a college football team in the Big 12. The Jayhawks operate under head coach Charlie Weis at the Memorial Stadium, which holds just over 50,000 fans. Kansas has a few NFL Hall of Famers, most famous being running back Gale Sayers. In addition, the Jayhawks boast a few current NFL players, most notably: Denver Broncos corner back Chris Harris, San Francisco 49ers full back Moran Norris, and New England Patriots line backer Darrell Stuckey. In 2008 the Jayhawks made their first BCS appearance, winning the Orange Bowl.
