Central Florida Golden Knights

The 2012 University of Central Florida Knights are ready to kick off their college football season and Gold Coast Tickets has the best deals on the tickets you want to see all the games! After a disappointing last season, the Knights are more than ready to show the nation they are worthy of a bowl this year. Central Florida is led by head coach George O’Leary at the Bright House Networks Stadium, which holds just over 45,000 roaring fans. George O’Leary took over the head-coaching job in 2004, after a terrible 2003 season and the team losing some very valuable players. However, it took O’Leary just one year to turn the team around, when in 2005 they were Eastern Division of Conference USA champions. In addition, O’Leary was named SportsIllustrated.com Coach of the Year for his achievements.

Joining Division I football in 1996, it took the Knights 15 seasons to be ranked in the AP top 25 polls, as in 2010 they hit the #25 slot, also winning the Conference USA Championship and beating college football powerhouse Georgia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to conclude the season. The Knights boast some current NFL stars, most notably including: newly acquired Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walkers, and Atlanta Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel.

The 2012 season will be the last season for the Knights in Conference USA, as they are moving to the Big East in 2013. Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Knights hope to get back to their winning ways. Gold Coast Tickets has the best selection for your entire 2012 knights and college football season ticket needs!
