USC Trojans

Perhaps the biggest disappointment in college football last year, USC came in ranked #1 but took a number of tough losses, failing against elite competition.

Losses against Stanford, Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Notre Dame, and Georgia Tech in their bowl brought a ton of criticism to coach Lane Kiffin.  Quarterback Matt Barkley’s draft stock was impacted significantly as he had a slightly worse season than before, and now USC loses elite wide receiver Robert Woods to the Buffalo Bills.  They still have Marqise Lee (1,721 receiving yards, 14 touchdowns) to catch passes from probable next quarterback Max Wittek.  Other playmakers, like running back Silas Redd (5.4 yards per carry, nine touchdowns), return, giving USC weapons to use despite this time of transition on the offense.  Only one starter returns in the secondary, so continuity on the defensive line is huge.  A new defensive coordinator is bringing in a much more flexible defensive scheme that can match up against the spread offenses of Oregon, Arizona, and the like.  A typically strong recruiting class is there to help as well, but still, questions at quarterback could cause another season of disappointment in Los Angeles.

The University of Southern California Trojans football team is a member of the Pac 12 Conference.  The Trojans have always been a team to watch in college football, as they have won 11 national championships and have sent the most players to the NFL (473).  They operate at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which holds just over 93,000 fans.  The Trojans have had many famous NFL players throughout the years; however, currently the most notable include: Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews III, Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu, and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.  The Trojans have 11 national titles, 38 conference titles, seven Heisman winners, and major rivalries with UCLA and Notre Dame.  USC is one of America’s greatest college football programs, and Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Trojans look to get back into the USC swing of things.  Gold Coast Tickets has the best selection for all your college football needs this season!
