Colorado Buffaloes

Hope for a bowl berth came to a screeching halt in 2012 as the Buffaloes finished the season with eight straight losses.  Early in the season CU lost to Sacramento State, not a member of a major conference.  Their only win came by one point at Washington State September 22nd.  They were subpar at all phases of the game last year, with an offense that ranked 120th and a defense that ranked 124th.  Luckily, the new coach brings enthusiasm coming off long success at San Jose State.  The system he brings is conducive to winning, but unfortunately it will take time to turn things around.  With a bad recruiting class, making a bowl would be tough with this roster, but a few more wins are a possibility.  Quarterback Jordan Webb was the best of a bad lot, and he should play most in his senior year.  Running back Christian Powell has plenty of upside rushing for 691 yards and seven touchdowns in his freshman year.  Receiver Nelson Spruce led the team in receptions and yards, and he was just a freshman last year.  So continuity is there offensively for this fall, whereas last year they were throwing freshmen to the wolves.  19 starters are back, and it’ll take a team effort to right this ship.

The Colorado Buffaloes are members of the Pac-12 Conference.  Previously, they were part of the Big 12, but due to demographics and competition, the Buffaloes will play the 2012 season in the Pac 12.  They operate under new head coach Mike MacIntyre at Folsom Field, which holds just over 53,000 fans.  CU has one national championship and 26 conference titles to go with 28 bowl appearances.  Despite their recent struggles, Colorado actually has a long and successful football legacy, sitting 23rd on the all-time wins list with 674 and holding a .600 winning percentage.  The Buffaloes have not made a bowl appearance since they made the Independence Bowl in 2007, so this season they look to turn back to their winning ways.  Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Buffaloes get back at the Pac-12.  Gold Coast Tickets has the best selection for all of your college football tickets this season!
