How many stitches does a baseball have?
All baseballs are created equal. Every baseball used in an MLB has the same 108-stitch pattern, wrapping white leather around a center or cork or rubber. During baseball’s ‘Steroid Era’, there was a theory that the baseballs themselves were juiced with a core that caused it to travel farther; however as more evidence came out indicting players for juicing, this theory faded.
