What was the last decade in which Cher did not have a #1-charting single?
  • 1950s
  • 1960s
  • 1970s
  • 1980s

Known as the Goddess of Pop, Cher is a music legend. Back in 2011 her single “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” hit number one, nabbing that record of consecutive decades. Her 1965 single “I Got You Babe” started the streak. She has drifted up and down the charts over the years as her musical style evolved, making the streak even more improbable. (source)

What year were field lights installed at Wrigley Field for the first time?
  • 1945
  • 1986
  • 1988
  • 1978

Wrigley renovations are all the talk these days as rooftop owners argue to defend their businesses that rely on the Cubs’ product. Neighborhood residents also give their two cents on seemingly everything the Cubs try to do. It’s interesting to remember that just even in the 80s the idea of night games at Wrigley Field had some fans emphatically angry. Night games are now a staple at Wrigley, with more than ever being scheduled under Ricketts ownership. Buy Chicago Cubs Tickets here

Which Chicago baseball player didn’t make the 2013 MLB All-Star Game roster?
  • Jesse Crain
  • Chris Sale
  • Travis Wood
  • Starlin Castro

Young lefty Travis Wood had a breakout season on the North Side, while ace Chris Sale had a dominant season matched by very few. Jesse Crain was the best reliever in baseball for the first half of last season as well, a rare non-closer to make an All-Star Game. But Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro had a down year, missing what would have been his third straight Midsummer Classic. Buy Chicago Cubs Tickets here Buy Chicago White Sox Tickets here
