Playoffs Are In Sight
The Bears have the opportunity to clinch the playoffs this year but the remaining two games this season must be played perfectly. A loss to either Philadelphia or the Packers will end the Bears season so the pressure is on. The wild-card possibility is not an option as the Panthers and the 49ers are both 10-4. The Bears could tie either of those teams but in that case the division would be theirs. Hopefully Jay Cutler will be back and closer to 100% than he was four weeks ago before the Ravens game.
Both lines have done a great job considering the depth of injuries they have faced this year. Forte has had success on the ground and in the air, as well as Alshon Jeffery who is having a breakout season and has emerged as a deep threat with great hands. The Bears should look to utilize the ability of both Marshal and Jeffery in combination with Forte to stretch the defense out and create scoring opportunities and open field looks. On the other side of the ball, the defense has also been plagued with injuries, Peanut Tillman being one of the major losses. There are definitely improvements and adjustments to make on the defensive side of the ball but I’m sure they’ll be able to overcome the diversity and play hard, tough, Chicago football. There are still tickets available for the remaining Bears games HERE at Gold Coast Tickets.
