Brian Urlacher Announces Retirement
After 13 very successful seasons in the National Football League, middle linebacker Brian Urlacher has announced his retirement. Earlier this offseason, Urlacher and the Chicago Bears were unable to come to terms on a new contract, thus allowing him to become a free agent. Despite rumors of #54 possibly signing with another team, he decided to cap his legacy as it stands. Urlacher ends his career as the Chicago Bears’ franchise leader in tackles, a former Defensive Player of the Year and an eight-time Pro-Bowler. With a long list of additional achievements and accolades to his name, Urlacher has put together a Hall of Fame caliber career and we wish him the best of luck moving forward.
