Adam Dunn named AL Comeback Player of the Year
After a historically bad season in 2011 (.159 BA 11 HRs 42 RBIs), Adam Dunn silenced critics with a solid 2012 campaign. In fact, his performance was so much improved that not only did he get elected to the 2012 All-Star Game, he has now been named the American League’s Comeback Player of the Year by SportingNews. Dunn ended the season with a .204 batting average, 41 homeruns and 96 runs batted in while serving as the White Sox designated hitter on his way to helping the White Sox make a strong push towards making the playoffs.
