It’s Time To Get ‘Stung’…
Sting is back, and he is touring to promote the 25th anniversary of his solo career. To mark this anniversary, Sting has released “Sting: 25 years”. The definitive box set consists of three CD’s and a previously-unreleased live DVD. It will also include some commentary from Sting himself, along with song lyrics and pictures. It was released on September 27, providing you ample time to get excited about his upcoming tour, “Back to Bass”.
On the tour, Sting will be playing bass like the days of old, and will be backed by a five-piece band. This should make for quite an intimate experience. With 25 years worth of solo material, not to mention his vast resource of Police hits, its going to be a night you will not want to miss!
The Chicago stop on the tour brings Sting to the Rosemont Theatre on November 5th, which only holds about 4,300 people. What a great spot to see him! There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. If you still need tickets to the show, I suggest you grab them quickly because it has already sold out through the box office. The multiple Grammy Award winner has an enormous fan base and by playing such a small venue like the Rosemont, tickets will be harder to find as the show nears.
