Picture Quiz: June Concert Guide – Win Free Stuff!

Well folks, concert season is upon us in Chicago which makes this music fan excited. If you are equally enthused, may I suggest a little picture quiz to tease your brain and introduce the upcoming acts in June? Take a gander and give it your best shot. (Hint: Pictures are listed in date order, “1″ is at the beginning of June and “24″ rounds out the month’s shows.)

Guess at least 10 correctly (via a facebook comment or below this post in the comments section) and I’ll hook you up with a Gold Coast Tickets environmentally-friendly shopping bag with some sweet GCT swag in it. Pictures of bands/artists that are set to play in Chicago this June

1. Glee Live!

The cast from the hit FOX show is in town for three performances, starting this Friday night, June 3rd (8PM) at the Allstate Arena. They’ll also perform hit songs from this season at 3PM and 8PM on Saturday, same venue. (Image Credit: Promotional) GET TICKETS

2. Ray LaMontagne

Fresh off their Grammy win for “Best Contemporary Folk Album”, Ray LaMontagne & the Pariah Dogs will stop off at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millenium Park to perform songs from their highly acclaimed album, God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise. 3. Dispatch

Prior to a three-show stint in 2007 at Madison Square Garden, the American/indie roots band had not played a summer tour in over a decade. Lucky for you Dispatch fans, they’ll make it up to you with three shows this month in Chicago. The UIC Pavilion will host them one night (6/7 6PM) and the following evening (6/8 6PM) they’ll play at the open-air auditorium, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. 4. The Beach Boys

The Historic Auditorium Theatre will host the famous Hawaiian shirt-wearing California boys on Thursday, June 9th at 7PM. ‘Honorary Beach Boy’ John Stamos is set to join them on the stage that night. (Image Credit: Jay Jones Music) GET TICKETS

5. Kenny Chesney

The country music megastar will perform live on the same field that the Chicago Fire plays, Toyota Park, next Thursday night at 7PM (6/9). GET TICKETS

6. Moody Blues

7. Rihanna

8. Robert Plant

9. R. Kelly

One of the biggest-selling R&B artists of our time, R. 10. My Morning Jacket

11. NKOTBSB (aka New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys)

If you missed them last week at the Allstate Arena, you have two more chances to relive that moment from your high school dance when you and all of your closest friends did the exact moves from, well any of either band’s songs. 12. Florence and the Machine

The 2011 Grammy-nominated band for Best New Artist will take the stage at the sold-out Aragon Ballroom Saturday, June 18th at 8PM. 13. Beady Eye

14. Peter Gabriel

I only find a few moments in my career at Gold Coast Tickets where I can plug my boy, Phil Collins, and this is one of them. But only because he wouldn’t be where he is today if it weren’t for Peter Gabriel’s decision to leave Genesis back in ’75. So, thank you Peter Gabriel..oh, and for those of you who don’t care for my plug and actually want to see Gabriel live- here’s the dish. He’s at the United Center June 20th at 8PM. 16. Miranda Lambert

24. Maroon 5
