GoldCoastTickets.com Wins Two CIMA.STAR Awards, including ‘Best Overall Website’
Last Thursday evening, I had the honor of attending the 6th Annual CIMA Holiday Party at the beautifully-decorated Grand Ballroom inside Union Station. Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA), along with sponsors such as Yahoo! decked out the huge space and brought in 5,000+ to the party. The soiree attracted the industry’s leading marketers, advertisers, web designers and other media-based professionals from Chicago’s elite ‘interactive’ society.
CIMA awarded ten CIMA.STAR Awards that evening, and screenshots of the winners’ websites were projected on the walls for all attending to see. GoldCoastTickets.com, was fortunate to have been nominated and awarded two of the ten categories.
- Best Overall Website – website is defined by best overall use of design, content, feature functionality usability and standards compliance. Incorporates new technologies to create a user engaged website, complete with bells and whistles making it more than a ‘catalog site’. Unique in nature and illustrates the success through measurable tactics (e.g. site traffic/growth, time spent, registered users, etc).
- Best B2C Website – best interactive website focusing on business-to-consumer. Displays excellent understanding of user experience, while showing superior use of design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance.
