Justin Bieber to perform at the Rosemont Theatre Tomorrow & Thursday
Attention tween/teen girls – the countdown to Justin Bieber is almost over. The teen sensation will be at the Rosemont Theatre tomorrow and Thursday to the delight of thousands of screaming, poster-wielding fans and probably some very relieved parents.
For those of you who haven’t heard of “the Bieb” as he’s been lovingly renamed at our office, he’s the new “it” kid.
Justin taught himself how to play piano, guitar, trumpet, and drums by his twelfth birthday and has also won several local singing competitions in his home town of Stratford, Ontario. His current manager Scooter Braun found him on YouTube after his mom nudged him into posting videos of past performances so that friends and family who could not attend could see him sing. Some YouTube covers included songs originally sung by artists Usher, Chris Brown, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Ne-Yo to name a few.
Since then, the 16-year-old has posted several international hits including “One Time,” “Baby,” and “One Less Loney Girl.” He’s performed for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and has collaborated with stars Ludacris, Sean Kingston, Usher, and many more when he sang Lionel Richie’s line in the 2010 remake of “We Are The World.”
