Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Fest returns to Chicago for only US Date
How does a live outdoor show with guitar-greats Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, BB King, Allman Brothers Band, and ZZ Top sound to you? If the answer was ‘awesome,’ you owe it to yourself to hit up the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival this summer.
Eric Clapton announced the show yesterday afternoon to the delight of those who missed (and experienced) it the last time it was in Chicago. The 2007 show at Toyota Park was the second Crossroads Fest (Cotton Bowl held the 1st in 2004) and it sold out almost immediately. Tickets went for upwards of $375/ticket once they were “gone.” <insert ‘You got a guy.’ tagline here.> This is the only show scheduled in the country.
Audiences can expect “unrivaled entertainment, brilliant guitar work, surprise guests and impromptu jams.”
