Six Blackhawks to compete in 2010 Winter Olympics
It’s official: six of our boys are heading to Vancouver in February.
The talented young Blackhawks team currently holds the coveted first place Western Conference slot and continues to impress with wins like Thursday night’s New Years Eve blowout against the New Jersey Devils (5-1 final.) It was hard to believe the Hawks were competing against the first place Eastern Conference team, but they were. And they made it look easy.
Another win tonight in St. Louis (6-3 final) only further proves their dominance on the ice.
These guys are poised and ready to face the best players in the world.
Each of the following Blackhawks will represent his respective home country (and proud Hawks fans) in Vancouver:
Team USA:
Patrick Kane
Team Canada:
Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, and Jonathan Toews
Team Slovakia:
Marion Hossa and Tomas Kopecky
