Billy Elliot

The musical is based on the International hit film, Billy Elliot.  The story is set in a small town in Northern England that is enduring a rough time after the coal-mining industry has collapsed.  The musical is ultimately the tale of a young boy's triumph against the odds.  We are moved as we watch the motherless boy struggle to trade in his boxing gloves for ballet shoes to follow his dream of becoming a dancer.  He just wants to dance!
